What does the building need before work is scoped?
An installation roof is not a single detail repeated across every structure. An armory, administrative space, vehicle bay and aviation hangar can have different coverings, drainage arrangements, penetrations and occupied areas. We begin with the named building and the reported condition, then compare field observations with available roof records. On a low-slope roof, that can mean tracing a leak from an interior report to membrane seams, wall terminations, drains, curbs and changes in deck or insulation. On a metal roof, we examine panel laps, fasteners, closures and the flashing where the roof meets a wall or equipment support.
Wylie Armory is a military armory and training facility with five buildings. We scope the specific structure requested and record its visible assembly before recommending a repair. Where a membrane detail is involved, flashing failure repair may require rebuilding the transition rather than coating over a loose edge. For an older roof where the installed layer is uncertain, we can arrange a commercial roof inspection that documents the observed materials and limits of what was opened.
