What is happening at the affected equipment detail?
We inspect the roof covering around the support, curb or penetration and compare its condition with the reported concern. A split corner, loose upper termination or damaged attachment can admit water at the component boundary. We examine adjoining layers and backing to determine what must be removed before the connection can be rebuilt. If the covering has been repeatedly disturbed around equipment work, we inspect the actual material rather than assuming another surface application will provide a useful repair.
For roof equipment curb and support work, we identify the equipment task needing its responsible contractor. A disconnected line, altered support or curb replacement can change the dimensions of our flashing. We review that arrangement before ordering dependent material and examine the component prepared for the roof connection. The building contact needs to know which part of the amount is roofing and which preparation must be supplied separately. We describe the protection possible if that component is not ready for permanent completion.
